In the fall of 2018, Petco was preparing to announce that it would no longer sell food and treats that contain artificial colors, flavors and preservatives for dogs and cats. As their partner in communicating this industry-leading move, we developed and created the messaging and brand identity for the announcement’s multi-platform campaign. Challenged with ensuring this announcement would break through the busy holiday news cycle, we made the message loud and clear: Petco is turning its back on artificial food. As a symbol of this commitment, we turned around their cat and dog logomark.
